Hi, the inner lining with the zipper ripped or separated the first job I had it on. I just sewed it. I love the magnetic snaps, I’m in and out of the bag all day. Size is great, super functional.

Shoulder Stap needs a big improvement.

The bag lays flat on the floor. It does not stand in you lean it agains a chair.

Besides that Internally it is great and materials and the manufacturing are amazing.

I love the Raven Messenger Bag. I have a 12L and a 16 L they are the bomb! Everything in it's place and a place for everything!

I purchased the RÃVEN 12 liters Messenger Bag and I couldn’t be happier with it. It stands out with its beautiful, sleek and streamlined
silhouette. The gorgeous Dune color I chose gives it an even softer look.
The following are the outside features that are unique.
1. The shoulder strap is very well padded and use a very simple clasp that slides up and down to adjust the height.
2. The handle at the back is flush with the bag and can be used to go over a carry-on handle.
3. The flap has an interesting shape and completely covers and protects the four zippered compartment and the open pocket in case of wet weather.
4. The two diagonal zippered compartments on each side are for quick access items such as a cell phone and documents. I personally like them more than the traditional zippered pocket at the back because they allow you to access those items directly from the front without having to turn the bag around, even when the flap is down.
5. The foam structure. Talk of all-around protection.

Those are the inside features that impress me the most.
1. The multitude of pockets of various size, some magnetic, some zippered, some with smaller pockets within. You can tell a lof of thought has gone into the organization.
2. A small pocket to hide an AirTag.
3. The magnetic pocket for a tablet in front of the laptop compartment.
2. The two side pockets on each side that easily collapse flat if you don’t need them, a truly unique feature. I intend to use one for my monocular.
3. The two side elastic bands that enable you to enlarge the inside of the bag, so you could easily put a small jacket. Another unique feature.
4. Finally, my overall favorite feature is the modularity it offers. I can simply attach the smaller VALR 4 liters sling bag which I have. Even if the sling is fully packed, the flap on the messenger bag will close over it without any problem. With that system, when I travel, the RAVEN could be my carry-on and the VARL my personal item.

Overall, this bag is as interesting and different as it is beautiful and functional. Being padded in and out adds to the protective aspect. I can’t wait to travel with it.

Very functional for my needs

This is my go-to everyday bag so I'm not going to tell you what's in there. I will say I utilize every pocket for something. I'll go ahead and say this is perfect to toss over the shoulder and ride the moto into work and to keep my disorganized world in better shape.

I've only had it a short time so it hasn't been battle tested yet. However, so far, so good. I like it.

Great sleek bag. Has worked well commuting to work. Would be nice if the zipper pulls were a bit larger and if the magnetic straps slid open away from each other instead of both sliding to one side to open.

I am raving about the Fara Raven bag, and not simply because of my last name. These bags, including the innovative nesting sling bag, are so well thought out, so carefully built and so durable, that they leave similar products in the dust. The attention to detail, for example, the cushioning and reversibility of the shoulder strap, are genius. The inclusion of myriad, purposeful pockets is praise worthy. To top it off is the customer-centricity of FaraFeather's owner, Sky, and his customer service team, who patiently address any and all questions and requests, set a very high bar. I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to experience this when one considers what has become the lack of customer-centricity endemic in the retail and online world today. My hat is off to Sky and his team for their vision, technical proficiency, design expertise and customer centricity. Buy one, or more, of these great bags! You won't be disappointed.

This bag is everything! I was kinda frustrated trying to unlock the straps, but once I figured the side swipe it was on and popping ’…. So many functional pockets for use and concealment. Everything seems to have a place to fit and the weight distribution while carrying goes beyond compare to my other slings and backpacks! I’m a law enforcement officer and plan to use it for work purposes. A “ tactical raven bag” more geared towards police/military would be freakin out of this world!!!!! Thanks FARA you guys rock!

I love the functionality of the bag. Lots of pockets and spaces to store belongings. Very well made and eye catching, easy to carry and roomy!

Took my 12L Fara Messenger bag on an International trip. It was big enough for my camera with lens 24-70 and long lens 28-400 plus my camera battery charger, my flash and my keys. Quality of the carry strap made it easy to carry. Love it.

Bought this for day to day and a trip i have coming up. I did order the longer strap and it works great plenty of room. I did add a magnetic buckle on the strap. Makes the bag more functional. Overall very satisfied.

Yeah the bag is great but how do you force your customers to purchase an add-on strap to extend the shoulder strap why was that not thought about in the build. I'm 6'3" 225 a bigger guy but not crazy. OH and now that i purchased these ad-on straps why do you not have a link on your website for installation. seems really weird and lacking in customer service

I've been using this bag for a few months now and it's great. Use is typically for a day/night outing carrying an extra layer/rain coat, water, bike lights, typical essentials, a few beers, a ping pong paddle, and can take a 6 pack should I need to grab one. Not caring a computer or traveling internationally here. I bike a lot and do like the padded back that holds well and doesn't make me feel whatever is in the pack like a non padded messenger bag does. Cramming a 6 pack in here can definitely max it out and push a bit of shape, but the padding doesn't make it feel so. I don't really feel the need for a cross strap, but again a small bag with not a whole lot of weight. The main strap without the excess remainder flapping around is pretty dope. The material is cool, tough but not too tech. I've seen all the colors and they all look sharp, but the Dune is the best in my opinion, looks tight, lots of compliments. LOTS of pockets, I don't really use most of them but I like that the side 'bottle' pockets flex in or out if you do or don't use them. I like the fleece lined pocket for when I forget my glasses case. Overall a killer product.

This bag is the perfect size for me when traveling. It fits under the airplane seat and has just enough room to fit all of my business documents, laptop, etc. Lots, and lots of extra zippered pockets too boot! Love this bag...

Very well made and designed bag!

I just traveled for 3 weeks with a combination of the 12L and 3L bags that integrated seamlessly. Great space and organization with the pockets in the 12L Raven that allowed me to easily carry my laptop and work notebooks plus headphones, water bottle, glasses and more. Loved the feature where you can connect the 3L Sling around the Raven! Helpful to be able to consolidate when navigating the airport while loaded down with other luggage.

This is an amazing bag, I use it everyday for work and private stuff. I've even used it as my carry-on during vacation. A lot of thought has gone into creating this bag and it shows, super confertable. The only downside is that I should have bought the larger 16L as well as the 12L, since you can't have to much FARA in your life!

I would also like to add that all communication with the FARA team has been awesome and they appreciate thoughts on the design and usage. Always answers super fast on any and all questions I've had

I have the 12L Raven and the 4L Sling bag. I use the sling every day and love it. Perfect size, carries everything I need. I recently went on a flight and cruise and my 12L was my carryon. I love how they hook up together and were perfect for the travel. I couldn't be more satisified.

This is the ultimate sling bag! I've had more slings/messengers than I can count thoughout the years and nothing compares to FARA RÄVEN. Simply amazing quality and as soon as you open it you can tell that some serious thinking by some very experienced travelers have gone into the design.
